You may access ASE keyword help by right-clicking the desired keyword, or by clicking on the desired keyword and pressing ALT-F2. Unlike most editors that provide a mere shortcut to documentation created elsewhere, ASE provides its own unique keyword help. Our ever-expanding database of language details including a description, parameters, return values, examples and remarks. ASE utilizes the same database provided in our online language reference. Know of another online resource for language information that you would rather use? See Keyword Help Customization for details.
This help is not simply a shortcut even to our own language information, but is well integrated with ASE. Right click on any valid keyword and choose "<keyword> Help..." and a window slides up to reveal details on that keyword. For more detail and screen shots, see the Context Sensitive Help topic.
Don't have an active Internet connection? Offline keyword help files have been made available which allow you to install help for whatever languages you wish. Download keyword help from the link provided at the Activations/Downloads page.
